The injection of energy to overcome time

You may have heard that the most valuable thing in life is time, not money, not riches, not possessions, but TIME! And the most intelligent people in this world also agrees with that.

Take Stephen Hawking, the author of the book “The theory of everything”, he once thought that time would eventually reverse. However, after much studying he finally came to the realization that he was wrong and time only moves forward.

Hawking describes that there are three different types of time; psychological, cosmological and thermal dynamic and all of them only move in one direction: FORWARD.

So, if time only moves forward and you can never go back to re attain it, shouldn’t we be spending it more wisely?

Most certainly we should, especially if you think that life is short. On the other hand, I was listening to Tai Lopez’s 67 steps program and he discusses a completely different theory, that life isn’t short at all but we rather waste it incorrectly.

On the book “On the Shortness of Life”, the author Seneca, describes the following:

“It is not that we have a short time to live but that we waste a lot of it. Life is long enough and a sufficiently generous amount has been given to us for the highest achievements if it was all well invested. But when it is wasted in heedless luxury and spent on no good activity, we are forced at last by death’s final constraint to realize that it was passing. So it is: we are not given a short life but we make it short, and we are not ill supplied but wasteful of it…Life is long if you know how to use it.”

As you see, life isn’t short but most of us just don’t use it correctly and efficiently. We like to think that time is infinite and tomorrow is a guaranteed. You must flee from that type of thinking for expectancy is human’s greatest enemy.

Do not expect time to be in your favor or that you will be able to reverse your mistakes. Don’t wait to get your life in line tomorrow, don’t wait to start dieting and exercising tomorrow, do it today for tomorrow might be already too late.

As you understand how time works, you will also understand that the difference between your rich and poor friends is a matter of learning how to use their time wisely.

Your poor friends will have no problem with wasting time in things that do not edify them but will think of money as something that they can’t never get it back once spent. Your rich friends on the other hand, will be extremely careful on how and with whom they spend their time for they know they can’t never get time back but can easily make more money.

Hence, the solution for entropy, which is a lack of order or predictability; gradual decline into disorder, is the injection of time, effort and concentration on your life. In other words, take time to study and analyze your life right now so you can start living immediately instead of waiting for a great moment, for example, your one week vacation.

Take time to study past lives and even current ones. Do you want to avoid being old and sick? Then, find someone that has reached their elderly years and is in great health, then apply those methods into your life. Learn from others and consult the people whom you believe to have the life you want. Analyze their actions so you can predict your own future.

To finalize, remember that we are all just people moving through time and you can either use it wisely or foolishly waste it but regardless, time moves forward.
